Downloadable GoogleMaps

With this new feature it will be possible to download KML files viewable on Google Heart.

You may download the path in 2D mode clamped on the ground for normal excursions or 3D mode for flying sports like the example.

With new version we have:
- add: compass on screen. The compass require few meters of movement to properly work
- add: accuracy light gray radius. The gray circle shows accuracy bounds given by GPS
- fixed: distance was not reset on path reset
- fixes: email IDs was treated in case sensitive mode making difficult to retrieve maps online.

With today update and thanking Luca Silvanti we made following changes.
On Eriadne:
- switched X and Y coordinate labels
- added the possibility to reset the path for initial imprecision or privacy protection of start point
- added the possibility to tune the height offset
- functions number grows -> reorganized menus
On Web:
- added few other tested and supported mobile models

Next comming:
- to support more mobile models (mainly of SonyEricsson family) we are bypassing JSR-179 to directly read location data from Bluetooth GPS device.

New features

I'm starting this blog by posting new features since very first version of Eriadne:

• excursion resume on application start (in case the application quit or saving battery on excursions stops)
  
• added height curve
• added details on screen: latitude, longitude, vertical and horizontal precision (+/- meters), path lenght in meters, speed (if available)
• automatic Path sending every 5/15/30/60 minutes
